Clinical Director

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and culturally competent Clinical Director with at least five years’ experience in treating clients with addiction to lead and support our medical team. The Clinical Director will provide high-quality clinical care, mentorship, and clinical leadership within Winnunga’s holistic model of care — integrating physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. This exceptionally professional and committed staff member will be responsible for the following tasks: - Provide comprehensive and culturally competent clinical care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. - Lead, mentor, and support a team of General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, General Practitioner Registrars, Nurse Manager and Dentist. - Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality improvement, and accreditation standards. - Work collaboratively with the CEO, and other senior leaders to develop and implement medical service strategies. - Contribute to workforce development, supervision, and clinical training. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and referral pathways. - Maintain highest standards of professional conduct.
