Position Overview: - Department : Sleep Center - Schedule : Night shift: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays, 6pm-6:30am - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies. - Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures. - Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues. - Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret and report results of sleep studies. - Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
