Title: Painter: CREATING POOL OF APPLICANTS FOR PERMANENT AND EXTRA HELP Division Name: Finance and Planning Department: Building Maintenance Campus Location: Normal, IL Job Summary: Under direct supervision from a supervisor who is responsible for the coordination of necessary work, the designation of the supervisor being dependent on the organizational structure in the operating unit, perform skilled work in the trade of painter. Salary Rate / Pay Rate: $42.40 per hour Required Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Successful completion of a recognized painter apprenticeship program or four (4) years (48 months) of full-time journey-level painter experience. 3. Must acquire, during probation, a valid Illinois Department of Public Health Lead Abatement Worker License (if required by the institution to be served). 4. A final candidate must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical exam. Employment is contingent on the successful result of the pre-employment physical. Preferred Qualifications: 1.
