Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) Transplant Financial Coordinator: Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program A Brief Overview: Responsible for verifying patient benefits, securing authorizations of all transplant and dialysis patients, notifying payers, medical groups and primary care providers of related procedures and admissions, and providing a high level of customer service in accordance with established hospital and departmental regulations, policies and procedures. This position is responsible for coordinating the financial aspects of care. In addition, this position will act as a resource for other ACT members regarding status of the pre and post transplant patients. What you will do: Interfaces with payors, medical groups, and review organizations to obtain appropriate authorizations for blood & marrow transplants.
