Facility Janitor

Job description

Overview Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the plant facility. Utilize sanitizing chemicals and cleaning equipment as needed. Responsibilities: - Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all areas assigned: bathrooms, locker rooms, hallways, stairwells, welfare areas, and production offices. - Responsible for maintaining clean and safe work areas, free from slippery surfaces and floors littered with debris. - Clean and sanitize walls, windows, tables, floors, and like surfaces. - Empty trash and garbage containers. The employee must pick up cigarette butts, paper, and any debris that is found inside or outside the facility. - Visually observant of repairs or issues in the plant such as missing tiles, light bulb replacement, etc. and report to management. - Operate several types of motorized cleaning equipment. Will use, maintain, and store equipment properly. - Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
