Job description

THE ROLE: The Global Head of Group Health & Safety is a senior, strategically critical leadership role within NextEnergy Group. The position is accountable for defining and leading the Group-wide Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) strategy across all geographies, business units and asset classes. The role ensures effective management of health, safety and wellbeing risks for direct employees across multiple jurisdictions. It is also responsible for ensuring that all legal and regulatory obligations discharged to third parties, including O&M and EPC partners, are clearly defined, effectively governed and demonstrably complied with. Acting as the Group authority on H&S, the role provides assurance and expert guidance to the Global Leadership Team (GLT), Boards, investors and external stakeholders. It ensures risks are proactively identified, managed and continuously improved through data-led insight, while supporting broader business goals by protecting people and assets, enabling sustainable growth, safeguarding licence to operate and strengthening partner performance.
