Corporate Manager Accounting Department: Finance: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Gainesville, FL: Reporting To: VP Finance: Description: The Corporate Accounting Manager oversees the integrity of the company’s general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies. This role manages the month‑end close, supervises GL staff, and partners with finance and business leaders to support audits, controls, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring all journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. - Oversee maintenance of the general ledger, including review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules. - Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards. - Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation of policies, procedures, and key controls. - Coordinate and support external audits, internal au...
