Description The Mechanical Engineer I role is an entry-level engineering position responsible for mechanical design and drafting of industrial tools and machinery for pipe and tube machining and welding applications. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a veracious drive for learning and professional growth. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with some hands-on project or work experience in the development of mechanical systems or products. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Collaborate and strategize with colleagues in the engineering, production/manufacturing, product management, service, and repair departments to solve problems and develop innovative world-class products. - Complete manufacturing and assembly mechanical drawings, tolerance analysis/stack-ups, and other documentation per ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards using SolidWorks CAD software. - Design and drafting of mechanical tools, fixtures, and machine components and subassemblies. - Assigned projects involve the following key areas: bill of materials structure, materials selection, strength of materials, static thermodynamic conditions and environments,...
