In this position... - Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery - Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues - Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers - Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations - Growing our manufacturing expertise in electronics manufacturing What you'll do: - Drive robust sourcing risk assessments on new or potential electronics suppliers and existing suppliers with new commodities - Industrialize new suppliers to Ford, suppliers implementing new technology and or complexity commodities - Conduct onsite evaluation visits for Priority commodities as per GPDS supplier engagement process for new programs. - Support Capacity Purchase team in capacity studies and Capacity uplifts studies, interfacing with suppliers and Ford cross-functional teams. - Drive new supplier site evaluations and Supplier Risk Assessment on new sourcing in support of new program Sourcing (GCST process), identifying Risk Mitigation. - Review supplier...
