Overview The Clinical Fellow – Speech Language Pathology will provide direct home, center-based, and telehealth parent training and patient care for assessing and treating communication (i.e., speech/language), oral motor, and feeding/swallowing disorders; administering department and program functions; maintaining documentation relative to services offered; and participation in intra and interdisciplinary training programs. In addition, the incumbent assists the family with appropriate referrals within Kennedy Krieger and in the community (i.e., school, medical, social, etc.). This position will have a variety of training opportunities, and this assignment provides temporary employment opportunities to coincide with and supplement the Clinical Fellow training experience. Responsibilities: - Provide parent training and therapy programs that focus on resolving an identified condition or diminishing its functional impact, with consideration given to setting clear and measurable goals and incorporating child and family needs, interests, abilities, and perspective.
