Job Title: Privacy Counsel: Location: London, hybrid Department: Legal Reports to: Senior Privacy Counsel Role summary: AVEVA supports industrial enterprise customers globally and handles personal data in a variety of contexts such as employee data, customer contacts and account users, prospect/marketing data and supplier data. We are looking for a Privacy Counsel to help deliver pragmatic privacy advice across the organisation. The role will report to the Senior Privacy Counsel and will work alongside a Privacy Compliance Manager, supporting privacy-by-design, contracting, vendor risk, incident response, and day-to-day privacy governance. The role holder is expected to (i) be a trusted point of contact for day-to-day privacy questions; (ii) manage customer/vendor negotiations of DPAs and related privacy clauses; (iii) support completion of privacy assessments with clearly documented outcomes; (iv) contribute to privacy governance (templates, playbooks, training, metrics etc).
