Department: 34516 Lexington Medical Center - Nursing: Critical Care Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: - 7pm-7am - Every other weekend rotation Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 This position is sign-on bonus eligible! Where You Will Work: The Critical Care Unit at Lexington Medical Center is a 16-bed unit that provides both Intensive and Intermediate Care. A dedicated charge nurse supports the unit without a patient assignment. The unit is equipped to monitor and trend heart rhythms and other hemodynamic pressures. Care of patients on ventilators, noninvasive ventilation with BiPAP or CPAP, and heated high flow oxygen delivery. Titrating medication IV drips to ordered parameters and the ability to follow protocols and order sets. Patient populations include sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, DKA, HHS, Electrolyte abnormalities that require close monitoring, COPD, CHF, pulmonary edema, cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke, post-surgical unstable patients, Hypertensive emergency that requires IV drips, Overdose, ETOH detox, etc. We’re Looking For: Less than 1 year of RN experience?
