ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Digital Engineering Tools Intern will play a key role in supporting the accuracy, organization, and modernization of Bourns’ digital product data and self-service engineering and resources. Working within the Marketing Communications (MarCom) team, and with periodic exposure to engineering and product management stakeholders, the intern will help improve the quality and structure of technical product information that powers customer-facing engineering tools and internal information databases. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES – BRIEF LISTING (Including but not limited to): - Support the creation and ongoing modernization of a master product parameter database, contributing to new website functionality and next-generation self-service engineering tools. - Review, validate, and update electronic component parameter data — including resistance, voltage, current, tolerance, and operating temperature values, among others — to support parametric search tools on the Bourns website; identify data gaps and help expand product categories within the parametric search system. - Support the development and testing of electrical engineering self-service tools and calculators, inc...
