Description Knox College invites applications for a Digital Humanities Media Specialist / Postdoctoral Fellow to begin July 1, 2022. The Digital Humanities Media Specialist / Postdoctoral Fellow will be an active participant in a collaborative social justice and civic engagement project funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The appointment is for three years, beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025. Working with the faculty convenors of the “Abolition for All Time” Humanities Lab (“Abolition Lab”) , the project coordinator, and undergraduate students, the specialist/fellow will support a variety of interdisciplinary projects related to institutional history and contemporary conceptions of “abolition” as a means to address social inequality and injustice. The principal responsibility of the fellow will be to promote exploration of various forms of digital presentation, communication, and storytelling to advance student engagement with humanistic inquiry.
