Job DetailsJob Location: Lebanon, OH 45036Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $14.17 - $15.67 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The School age Counselor will work closely with the program staff in the assigned classrooms to achieve the mission of Countryside YMCA, Step Up to Quality, Adult and Child Food Program and to meet the requirements of ODJFS Rules. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists with preparation of developmentally appropriate activities and conducting said activities in a classroom setting. Adheres to policies as stated in the YMCA Childcare Policies and Procedures Manual and in subsequent YMCA trainings and meetings. Works as a team player who encourages open communication regarding concerns/issues with children, parents or co-workers. Maintains accurate documentation of attendance, absences and emergency information on each child.
