Department: 36300 High Point Medical Center - Administration: Radiology Status: Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Pay Range $33.05 - $49.60 POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Location: High Point Medical Center, High Point, NC Shift Schedule: PRN - As Needed YOU’LL NEED: Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required. BLS required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient. Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam. Contacts ordering provider when there are discrepancies. Properly identify (Using two patient identifiers) and assist patients while offering a brief explanation of the procedures. Prepares patients for the procedure with a full explanation and documents on appropriate worksheets. Interviews patients for a complete medical history.
