Position Overview: Under the direction of the Microbiology Supervisor, the Microbiologist will be responsible for performing microbiological tests on raw material, work in progress (WIP), finished products, and environmental swabs to ensure product safety and quality per company policies and procedures. Essential Functions: - Test products and environmental swabs for relevant bacteria (coliforms, E. coli, Staph, Listeria, etc.) - Test products for Gluten - Generate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) documentation - Perform instrument verifications and calibrations - Maintain inventory of lab supplies - Validate new lab procedures - Verify product labels - Sample products, raw materials, and environmental swabs as needed - Work with relevan...
