Systems Engineer

Job description

Overview The system engineer is responsible for participating in the planning, design, installation, monitoring and support of Microsoft Windows 2025 & 2022 servers, Linux/Unix Servers, storage systems and virtualization technologies including server hardware and server management tools. Administers standards, policies and procedures in accordance with corporate and customer objectives to improve system availability, reliability, recoverability, or manageability. Performs server/application maintenance and housekeeping. Performs other functions and assists team as necessary or at the direction of Infrastructure Management and/or other IT management. Responsibilities: What you will do: - Planning, design, installation, monitoring and support of Windows and Unix based server platforms, VMware/Hyper-V technologies, back-up/communications equipment and server management tools.
