Serving is an entry-level position, but previous experience is required in certain locations because the position is crucial to the customer's dining experience. Tasks range from escorting guests to their table and explaining the menu and taking orders, to delivering not just a great meal but also a great experience. Thirsty Turtle is a high volume, high-energy environment; the expectation is that servers will be quick and efficient, providing a high level of customer service.
