Your Opportunity Stantec’s Colorado Construction Management Group is looking for a highly motivated Construction Manager with strong heavy civil transportation construction experience for our Colorado Springs, CO office. The Construction Manager is responsible for those tasks listed under the heading Project responsibilities. The primary responsibility of the Construction Manager is to monitor and report on the work being executed on site by the Construction Contractor(s) and their sub-contractors to assist our clients in ensuring the work is being executed in accordance with the construction contract. Responsible for overseeing a team that typically consists of project controls, quality inspectors, and administration staff; may participate in pre-construction activities supporting engineering, estimating, logistics, and execution planning related activities from a construction perspective. Will advise the client on any issues or risks observed and provide recommendations on proposed remedial actions for client’s approval.
