JOB DESCRIPTION: HYBRID REMOTE POSITION Must reside within commuting distance of Bradenton, FL Three days remote / two days onsite in Bradenton, FL SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for acquiring medical records and treatment information from area hospitals / providers. Monitors and maintains all communication for enterprise HIM department including phones, faxes and emails. Daily tasks include but are not limited to; Record Auditing; regularly reviews patient/client records and related documentation; HIM phone bank coverage; daily verification of “Batches” received from clinical sites; monitoring outstanding hospital discharge information; communicating with Centerstone clinics to ensure that continuity of care documentation is available in the client’s Electronic Health Record (EHR); supplying back-fill for HIM department needs.
