Job description

Cycle Counting: Perform periodic counts of inventory items to verify the accuracy of the warehouse’s inventory records. This is typically done on a rotating schedule, where different parts of the warehouse are counted on different days or weeks (ABC program). 2. Inventory Reconciliation: Compare the counted quantities against the system’s records. If discrepancies are found, investigate the cause and correct any errors in inventory management. 3. Reporting: Document and report findings, including discrepancies, damages, or other issues discovered during cycle counts. 4. Data Entry: Input inventory data, discrepancies, and adjustments into the warehouse management system (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, inventory control, procurement, and warehouse staff to ensure stock is correctly tracked and all discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner. 6. Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to inventory processes and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency, such as optimizing storage layouts or enhancing barcode scanning systems.
