Department: 36311 AMC Kenosha - MRI Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Your Next Career Move Starts Here-MRI Technologist Wanted - 1.0 FTE (Full-Time) - 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm - Monday-Friday - Include in o n-call and holiday rotations. - Benefits and Sign-on Bonus eligible Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 Major Responsibilities: - Competently operates magnetic resonance (MR) equipment used to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures. Procedures include routine musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopedic imaging, arthrogram, neurological angiography, body imaging, and small joint imaging. - Obtains medical history from patients, compares requisitions to physician's orders to ensure ordered exam accuracy, and prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist. - Positions patient and selects proper scanning factors, adjusts factors to attain the appropriate images, and provides magnet protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies. - Post-processes images as directed and accurately identifies and labels images identifying patient name, medical record unit (MRU) number,...
