Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Procedure Scheduler to join our Axis Spine Team! We need someone with a professional demeanor who will provide great customer service to our patients and is able to multitask! The Procedure Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient procedures, managing assigned provider procedure schedules, and ensuring all required documentation, authorizations, and clearances are obtained prior to the procedure date. This role verifies patient demographic and insurance information, maintains accurate scheduling and patient records, and collaborates closely with providers, nursing staff, hospital departments, and external vendors to ensure timely and successful procedures. The Procedure Scheduler provides excellent customer service to patients, providers, and external partners while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and strict confidentiality.
