The Machinist is responsible for the timely and accurate manufacture of parts per print specifications utilizing a variety of machining centers safely. They may also make or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines. Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job: - Check for defective parts on materials and performs maintenance on machines. - Identify material to be utilized in the manufacturing process. - Identify various types of tooling. - Maintain clean and safe work area. - Set up, operate, and maintain one or more grinders, lathes, saws, and milling machines. - Review and understand blueprints to ensure accurate production. - Accurately take precise measurements. - Select appropriate tooling and settings for a given work order. - P...
