Job DetailsJob Location: 214 Lake - Rochester, NY 14608Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $24.00 - $28.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NegligibleJOB SUMMARY The Human Resources Generalist will oversee and assist with a variety of full life cycle HR tasks in accordance with Volunteers of America of Upstate New York’s values. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES: Recruitment: Oversees the entire talent management life cycle. Creates job postings and comprehensive job descriptions, in partnership with hiring managers. Assists with phone screens and in-person interviews, as needed. Onboarding: Responsible for creating offer letters and ensuring appropriate pre-employment screenings are completed, depending on the department, prior to date of hire. Orientation: Completes new hire orientation and ensures all necessary paperwork is completed, correct, and done timely for all employees. Provides first day HR trainings and completes 90 day check-ins. Employee Relations: Assists HR Manager with employee relation issues, such as employee coaching conversations or complaints.
