Location: Cleveland, OH Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Shift Manager Maintenance Evening Shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) position at the Cleveland, OH facility. This front-line supervisory role is responsible for managing the day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities within the respective area(s) of responsibility to ensure a reliable, safe, and continuously improved operation. The Shift Manager serves as a key link between operations and maintenance teams and leadership, supporting safe, efficient, and reliable operations within a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Summary of Responsibilities: - Manage the maintenance of mechanical equipment and provide day-to-day supervision of Maintenance Technician Mechanics (MTMs) within the assigned department/area - Develop expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and water systems within the assigned area - Lead daily safety interactions and reinforce safe work practices in all maintenance activities - Ensure maintenance activities are performed in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements - Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable, ensuring they have the tools, training, and knowledge to perf...
