POSITION SUMMARY: Logistics coordinator is responsible for efficient management of incoming material to the project site DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Gather information about incoming deliveries and the needs of the various construction teams. - Coordinate/control staging of trucks and their movements on the production site - Coordinate the flow of material from arrival to site for usage by the construction teams or delivery to stock; minimize movements/picks and handling damages, maximize space utilization. - Ensure that offloading is made safely and that material is properly placed - Provide input to the goods receipt process - Make and report result of incoming inspections. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the store man with stock transfers INTERACTIONS: - Construction teams - Crane drivers - Health & Safety officer - Logistics function - Purchasing function - Forwarders - Truck drivers TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: - 100% site based in (but may require occasional limited international travel) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - English speaking - Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organizes and coordinates work with others. - Builds good relationships with peers - Is persuasive,...
