Create your best future and join Westpac as a Director - Accounting Policy - Permanent Full-time opportunity - Sydney based - Hybrid working model What’s the role?: As a Director, you will play a key role within the Group Finance function, leveraging your deep understanding of accounting standards and broader financial reporting requirements within the financial services industry. You will lead and develop a high-performing team while providing accounting advisory across complex transactional activities, monitoring evolving standards and industry best practice, and delivering insights to enhance financial reporting. Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors, you will manage relationships with senior stakeholders including the Group CFO, Deputy CFO, divisional finance teams, Legal and Risk, alongside supporting ad hoc initiatives across the wider Group Financial Control team.
