Job description

Position Description The role of Lifting Gear Maintenance Inspector is to ensure ESB Networks comply with its obligations regarding the inspection, maintenance, certification and repair of lifting, working at height and load securing equipment. The role involves lifting and handling of a range of equipment including but not limited to ladders and chain hoists. A candidate for this role must be capable of undertaking the duties attached to the role and be in a state of health such as would indicate the ability to render regular and efficient service. Travel is a feature of the role. Key Responsibilities: - To complete all work safely and work closely with your Line Manager and Safety Manager in relation to all safety issues in Fleet & Equipment. This includes the reporting of safety incidents in an efficient manner. - To have a detailed knowledge of the range and practical application of lifting, climbing and load securing equipment in use. - Inspection, maintenance, repair and certification of all lifting, working at height and load securing equipment in use in ESB Networks. - Replacement of damaged or defective equipment in a safe, sustainable manner. - To store and maintain a sto...
