Certified Medical Assistant (Float) Job Description: Certified Medical Assistants are responsible for providing assistance to providers in the direct and indirect care of Practice Management patients. Performs patient or office related duties including but not limited to clinical measurements and data collection. Documents clearly and accurately in patient records. Functions clinically as support staff to provider(s). This position will float to various areas depending on need. Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week: Required: HS Diploma; CMA; RMA; CLS or CPR within 90 days of hire Pay: Based on experience, starting at $20.59 per hour Responsibilities: Accepts reassignment, at the direction and discretion of management, as applicable to staffing levels and patient volumes., Administers medication as directed by the provider., Assists providers with patient exams/ treatments/procedures., Cleans/stocks exam rooms/work spaces on an on-going basis to assure that there is an adequate supply.
