Department Overview This position is a 12-month, full-time Principal Faculty position in the Division of Physician Assistant Education. This position is primarily in the clinical education phase of the program. This position reports to (supervisor): Division Head and Program Director, Physician Assistant Education Function/Duties of Position: In support of the PA Program curriculum, the faculty member will: - The principal faculty will work closely with the clinical education team to promote program success with a strong focus on the clinical phase. - Participate as a lecturer/small group facilitator /course director throughout the curriculum, teaching in areas of expertise and program need as assigned by the Program Director - Participate in the ongoing schedule of periodic site visits to evaluate students on clinical rotation and the supervision provided by clinical preceptors as assigned by the Program Director. - Participate in the grading of student assignments and evaluation of student academic and professional development.
