This position performs high-complexity diagnostic testing and is responsible for virology specimen receiving, RNA/DNA extraction, and real-time PCR. This role involves both routine surveillance and the development of new diagnostic assays under regulatory standards. Duties and responsibilities for this position: Perform molecular and serological assays for viruses, including influenza A/B (surveillance), measles, and arboviruses (such as dengue, West Nile, and chikungunya).
