Job Description: The Makino Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate at the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter, Florida. The area of our research focuses on coronary microvascular dysfunction in diabetes and menopause, particularly in cell-cell communication, mitochondrial function, cell apoptosis/senescence, and calcium handling in the endoplasmic reticulum of endothelial and smooth muscle cells.
