Location: Rockport, IN Cleveland-Cliffs Rockport Works is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Shift Manager to provide frontline leadership to skilled‑trades employees in our Pickling Department. This role is responsible for coordinating daily and downtime maintenance activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of critical plant systems. Summary of Responsibilities: - Lead and direct hourly maintenance personnel during daily operations and downturns. - Oversee operation and maintenance of boilers, ensuring reliable steam supply and completion of inspections and PM tasks. - Manage RO water treatment systems to ensure consistent water quality for production processes. - Supervise air compressor operations to maintain reliable compressed air for plant operations. - Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance using CMMS tools; maintain accurate TS16949 documentation. - Evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests and coordinate with engineering, operations, and vendors. - Prepare outage-related reports and assist with resource and cost planning. - Enter requisitions for parts, supplies, and contracted services; manage maintenance backlog. - Direct troubleshooting and repairs...
