Title: Instructor, Arts – 9/10 Month (Term) - Dickson campus POSITION SUMMARY: This position is a nine-month faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction in ART. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform job duties from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Teach courses on-ground at the assigned campus/instructional site/work location, predominantly Introduction to Art (Art Appreciation) courses, and others that may be assigned. Other instructional delivery modes, such as online, hybrid or web-enhanced, taught from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location, may be assigned based on operational needs, as determined by the college. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, faculty are expected to teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold office hours. Work with Course Lead, Department Chair, and Dean to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the college’s learning management system (D2L) to provide accurate and updated course materials to students. Submit updated and accurate syllabi prior to the first day of class.
