Description Fordham Law School invites applications for an adjunct instructor position to teach Law courses in National Security Law and related issues . The Law School is particularly interested in courses that combine both theory and current legal practice. Course topics could include: · the balance between security and civil liberties · the powers of different branches of government · specific areas such as domestic and foreign intelligence surveillance · the use of force · the law of war · counterterrorism · an analysis of the legal challenges of balancing national security secrecy with the public's right to information Responsibilities: · Teach an engaging course at the Law School exploring legal issues in National Security, including in-depth analysis of case law, statutes, regulations, and practice-oriented documents · Develop a thirteen-week syllabus that covers essential topics within a National Security domain.
