Summer Practice - Testing Telecommunications Software

Job description

Our team is part of the 5G Integration R&D department in Timisoara which includes several SW testing activities. Inside the department, we are working on the 5G Cloud project. We perform Blackbox testing and we are the first “real” layer of testing 5G SW. This level of testing is called PIT (Plane Integration Testing). Based on the specification diagrams, PIT engineers create test plans, write & execute functional test cases on software binaries and interfaces between them in a simulated environment. All tests are automated and written in a programming language called TTCN3 (similar to Python). Main activities are: new feature implementation, local support and stability. We are looking for students who really want to be involved and to contribute and who have good communication skills and can collaborate well inside the team.
