About the Unit: In a fast-paced environment, under direct supervision, detailed oriented individuals are responsible for the cleaning, assembly, sterilization and storage of instrumentation and equipment required for surgeries, examinations, and clinical procedures in accordance with the product company’s manufacture Instructions, AAMI, AORN, OSHA, CDC, and FDA guidelines. Case cart preparation and distribution of OR and clinical procedure instruments and supplies entered in a tracking data bases prior to delivery. Utilizing critical thinking to provide solutions to arising issues and concerns to maintain patient safety.
