Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus 1701 S Creasy Ln Lafayette, Indiana 47905 The CSP Technician I is responsible for decontaminating instruments and equipment. Sterilization of instruments for operative and invasive procedures, according to AORN, AST, CDC, and AMMI guidelines. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Stocks carts with supplies after the cart has been brought to sterile processing for exchange. Responds to instrument and equipment requests from surgery and hospital departments. Performs testing and runs biologicals on sterilizer, documenting accurately. Follows hospital policy and state regulations whenever a discrepancy occurs. Operates all types of sterilizers and decontaminating equipment according to the Manufacturer's instructions.
