Job Summary The General Tax Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of assigned domestic/foreign sales/use tax filings and remittance of tax as well as all reports and remittance payments as necessary; the accurate and timely preparation of escheat property, and timely remittance of payments as necessary; accurate and timely remittances of personal property tax payments. This position handles multiple assignments in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment with frequent direct interaction with internal/external individuals. Job Responsibilities: - Prepares assigned domestic and foreign sales and use tax returns - Responsible for all escheat property compliance per state statues - Oversee timely payment processing of domestic/foreign personal property tax filings - Responsible for the location maintenance in the Store Database/Determination Software Systems - Other duties and projects assigned by the Tax Supervisor Job Requirements: #hybrid #LI-LC1 - High school diploma - 2 – 4 years’ relevant tax experience with a large multi-state corporate tax department - Knowledge of basic accounting terms - Good understanding of tax concepts - Strong computer skills...
