- New Client - Multiple positions available across a 24/7 roster - Specialized training provided for bariatric support Position: Disability Support Worker: Location: Andrews Farm: Employment Type: Casual and Permanent Part Time The Opportunity: Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following: - Come and join our team! We are seeking Disability Support Worker located in Andrews Farm - Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home - Providing support with hygiene and personal care - Complex care support - Hoist, Bowel care, catheter management ( Supra pubic catheter), Enema, Medication and Manual handling - Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment - Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication - Meal assistance which may include meal preparation Who we’re looking for: - A person-centered, warm approach with a compassionate and non-judgmental disposition - Interest or experience in complex care, bariatric care, disability, and health nuances. - Great communicator: listens well, reads cues, and adapts to different styles. - Reliable and pro...
