Why this role matters: On the Platform Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing internal tool sets used by our Engineering teams in their daily routines. The goal of these efforts is to reduce toil and streamline the process of modernizing internal applications. The primary focus is on implementing and managing Cloud Native Kubernetes-based platform ecosystems to deliver the platform of choice hosting production API’s. You’ll be involved in every aspect of engineering from software development strategies, dev workflows, HA and scalability aligned with modern GitOps practices ensuring that the SLA/SLO and cost objectives of the services are maintained, and improved upon.
