Production Supervisor 1st Shift

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the Shift overall activities of the production operations, including workplace safety and food safety Essential Functions, Duties and R esponsibilities - Meet cost, quality and service targets within the Manufacturing and Operations area as detailed on our Plant Leadership Scorecards - Manage, lead, and develop staff to establish a high-performance work team. - Develop and implement cost savings projects to improve overall departmental efficiency. - Engage with network peers to identify , create, and promote improvements in service and cost efficiency as a team - Execute talent management strategy to improve organizational capacity and capability. - Ensure the Health and Welfare of our associates. - Evaluate and interpret daily production reports to observe trends in the production cycle. - Maintain a production line balance and issues system that allows the whole plant to have situational awareness of the production floor. - Understand AS400 system to interpret and implement the daily production schedule and be able to fill in for the scheduling department during non-typical work hours . . - Work directly with the temporary employm...
