Mechanical and Environmental Test Engineer

Overview Element has an opportunity for an Environmental Test Engineer to support and lead testing programs for components and systems developed for key account projects in our Newark, CA laboratory. In this role, you will design and execute test plans to evaluate product performance, durability, and reliability under a range of thermal, vibration, humidity, and environmental conditions, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, preparing detailed technical reports, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, actionable results. Element Newark offers a range of services, including shock and vibration testing, thermal stress, and extreme environment simulation. Together with our sister lab, Element Fremont, we support virtually every industry in the Bay Area, including aerospace, defense, telecom, medical, automotive, industrial, and more.
