Location: Forbes, MN Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant at our Forbes, Minnesota location. The Senior Accountant is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting operational results; developing budgets and forecasts; and supporting capital reporting and analysis. The Senior Accountant participates in monthly close activities, including preparing and recording journal entries, logging production and operating statistics, and completing assigned account reconciliations. This position collaborates closely with various departments and operational teams and must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Summary of Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver performance reports, including analysis of operational and financial KPI’s on a weekly and monthly basis. This requires regular communication with maintenance and operations personnel to track spending amounts and timing. Develop budgets and forecasts, including cost, production and capital.
