Job description

Responsible for performing manufacture, repair and maintenance to progressive dies and rebuild or repair tooling to support production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Perform die maintenance, using tool rom equipment and hand tools - Layout and perform center drilling, reaming, lapping, tapping, countersinking and counter boring. - Machine parts to blueprint specifications. - Fabricate and/or repair dies for production. - Layout existing die sections and make replacements as needed. - Make in press repairs of tooling. - Document and record various data for the department. - Drive a hi-lo and operate crane to transport dies for maintenance or installation. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required Education & Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status as a Tool & Die Maker and/or equivalent on the job experience. - 5 plus years of related work experience.
