Job Title: Master Mechanic Department: Maintenance / Production Support: Reports To: Maintenance Manager Location: Houston, TX Position Summary: The Master Mechanic / is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of all production equipment. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with powder coating systems, extrusion lines, and grinding operations, as well as leadership ability to supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate cross-functional repairs and improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to support daily production operations. Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment including: Powder coating booths, ovens, and conveyor systems Extrusion machines and associated feed systems Grinders, mixers, and dust collection systems Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
