Job description

Position Description: Assemblers perform a variety of tasks at Wabash that vary from location to location. A ssemblers are responsible for tasks such as installing subassemblies , assembling component parts , operating rivet punchers , and installing decals . Essential Duties and Responsibilities: B elow are examples of the t ype of duties you could be responsible for: - Own ing and help ing improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery - Keeping the work area free of any potential work hazards - Measuring, cutting and c aulking material s - Installing rivets - Operating heavy machinery - Installing truck bed flooring - Following decal templates & blueprints - Install ing signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps , and other associated parts - Perform ing additional work assigned by the s upervisor or coordinator , which may require the employee to assist in different department s) - Wear ing approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc . - Complet ing assigned duties in accordance with safety , policies , and practices , includ ing your individual safety, as well as the safety of...
