Salary/Position Classification: - $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) - 15-20 hours per week - 100% Remote Work Availability: No - Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintain multiple types of cells in culture using sterile technique - Isolate total from cells and tissues - Generate cDNA and complete quantitative real time PCR reactions - Conduct protein detection and quantification assays - Maintain a complete and detailed research notebook - Utilize basic software and analysis platforms (i.e. Office, Photoshop, etc.) - Experience with microscopy/imaging is preferred but not required.
